Ingredients

Add pork sausage links, prepared following package directions to shopping list 2 pounds pork sausage links, prepared following package directions

Add large tart apples, peeled and sliced 1/4- inch thick to shopping list 2 large tart apples, peeled and sliced 1/4- inch thick

Add large onion, chopped to shopping list 1 large onion, chopped

Add chicken broth or water to shopping list 1/3 cup chicken broth or water

Add brown sugar to shopping list 1/4 cup brown sugar

Directions:

In a large skillet, combine apples, onion, broth and brown sugar. Cook over medium heat for 5 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the sausage; heat through and serve.
