Green Beans Polonaise

Yield: Makes 4 servings

Ingredients

Add (16 oz.) Del Monte Whole or Cut Green Beans to shopping list 1 can (16 oz.) Del Monte Whole or Cut Green Beans

Add butter to shopping list 3 tablespoons butter

Add garlic to shopping list 1 clove garlic

Add instant minced onion to shopping list 2 tablespoons instant minced onion

Add fine dry bread crumbs to shopping list 3 tablespoons fine dry bread crumbs

Add Few drops lemon juice to shopping list Few drops lemon juice

Directions:

In oven-proof dish, heat green beans in 300 F. oven. Melt butter over low heat. Set aside until milk solids have settled to bottom. Skim off clarified butter discarding solids. Rub skillet with garlic. Heat clarified butter until browned. Saute onion and add bread crumbs and lemon juice. Cook until browned, being careful not to burn crumbs. Drain beans, keep warm. Top with buttered bread crumbs.
