Ingredients

Add honey to shopping list 1/4 cup honey

Add water to shopping list 1/2 cup water

Add lemon juice to shopping list 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Add ground ginger to shopping list 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

Add nutmeg to shopping list 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Add cinnamon to shopping list 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Add medium apples, peeled, cored and sliced to shopping list 2 medium apples, peeled, cored and sliced

Directions:

In a medium skillet, combine the first six ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered, until slightly thickened. Add the apples; simmer, uncovered, until the apples are just tender, stirring gently. Serve warm.
