Smoky Ham and Navy Bean Stew

Ingredients

Add cooked ham, cubed to shopping list 1 lb. cooked ham, cubed

Add water to shopping list 2 cups water

Add dried navy beans to shopping list 1 cup dried navy beans

Add sliced celery to shopping list 1 cup sliced celery

Add small onion, chopped to shopping list 1 small onion, chopped

Add medium carrots, sliced to shopping list 2 medium carrots, sliced

Add dried thyme leaves to shopping list 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves

Add liquid smoke to shopping list 1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke

Add chopped fresh parsley to shopping list 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Directions:

In 3-4 quart slow cooker, combine all ingredients except parsley; mix well. Cover and cook on low setting for 10-12 hours. Stir in parsley before serving.
