Chocolate Coconut Ice Cream Pie

Ingredients

Add (4-oz.) semisweet chocolate to shopping list 1 pkg. (4-oz.) semisweet chocolate

Add butter to shopping list 2 tablespoons butter

Add flaked coconut to shopping list 2 cups flaked coconut

Add ice cream, softened to shopping list 1 quart ice cream, softened

Add frozen whipped cream topping, thawed to shopping list 2 cups frozen whipped cream topping, thawed

Add flaked coconut to shopping list 1 cup flaked coconut

Directions:

Crust: Melt chocolate and butter over low heat; remove from heat. Stir in coconut; mix well. Press on bottom and sides of 9-inch pie plate; freeze. Filling: Spread ice cream into crust; spread with whipped cream topping; sprinkle with coconut. Freeze until firm. Remove from freezer about 10 minutes before serving; dip bottom of pan in hot water to ease cutting.
