Water Chestnut Pea Salad

Ingredients

Add medium carrots, chopped to shopping list 2 medium carrots, chopped

Add (16 oz.) frozen peas, thawed to shopping list 1 pkg. (16 oz.) frozen peas, thawed

Add (8 oz.) water chestnuts, drained to shopping list 1 can (8 oz.) water chestnuts, drained

Add green onions, thinly sliced to shopping list 2 green onions, thinly sliced

Add shredded mozzarella cheese to shopping list 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Add prepared ranch salad dressing to shopping list 1/2 cup prepared ranch salad dressing

Add bacon, cooked and crumbled to shopping list 5 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled

Directions:

Cook carrots in a small amount of water until crisp tender; drain and rinse in cold water. Place in serving bowl; add the peas, water chestnuts, onions and cheese.

In a small bowl, combine the salad dressing, bacon and pepper; mix well. Pour over salad and toss to coat. Chill before serving.
