Ingredients

Add fresh beef brisket, cut in half to shopping list 3 pounds fresh beef brisket, cut in half

Add ketchup to shopping list 1 cup ketchup

Add grape jelly to shopping list 1/4 cup grape jelly

Add onion soup mix to shopping list 1 envelope onion soup mix

Add pepper to shopping list 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Directions:

Place half of the brisket in a slow cooker.

In a bowl, combine the ketchup, jelly, soup mix and pepper. Spread half the mixture over meat. Top with the remaining half of meat and remaining mixture. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or until meat is tender. Slice thinly and serve with cooking juices.
