Cranberry Salsa

Yield: 2 1/2 cups

Ingredients

Add water to shopping list 1 cup water

Add granulated sugar to shopping list 1 cup granulated sugar

Add (12 ounce) fresh cranberries to shopping list 1 package (12 ounce) fresh cranberries

Add chopped jalapenos to shopping list 2 Tablespoons chopped jalapenos

Add dried cilantro to shopping list 1 teaspoon dried cilantro

Add ground cumin to shopping list 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin

Add green onion, sliced (including green stem) to shopping list 1 green onion, sliced (including green stem)

Add fresh lime juice to shopping list 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice

Directions:

Combine water and sugar in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil over medium heat. Add cranberries; return to boil.

Gently boil cranberries for 10 minutes without stirring. Pour into a medium glass mixing bowl. Gently stir in remaining ingredients.

Place a piece of plastic wrap directly on salsa. Cool at room temperature.
