Tomato Crouton Casserole

Ingredients

Add (28 ounce) diced tomatoes, undrained to shopping list 1 can (28 ounce) diced tomatoes, undrained

Add seasoned croutons, divided to shopping list 2 cups seasoned croutons, divided

Add small onion, chopped to shopping list 1 small onion, chopped

Add granulated sugar to shopping list 1 Tablespoon granulated sugar

Add dried oregano to shopping list 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

Add sea salt to shopping list 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Add freshly ground black pepper to shopping list 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Add butter, cut into small pieces to shopping list 3 Tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F

Cover the bottom and sides of a 2- quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

In a medium bowl, mix tomatoes with 1 cup croutons. Stir in onion, sugar, oregano, salt and pepper. Spread in baking dish. Dot with butter; sprinkle with remaining croutons.

Bake uncovered for 30 to 35 minutes.
